Son nom sp\u00e9cifique thyrsoides vient du grec &#8220;thursos&#8221; qui d\u00e9signe le thyrse, un b\u00e2ton qui \u00e9tait l&#8217;embl\u00e8me de Dionysos (Dieu Bacchus, Dieu du vin et de l&#8217;extase), b\u00e2ton qui \u00e9tait orn\u00e9 d&#8217;un entrelac de lierre et de pampres, le pommeau \u00e9tait orn\u00e9 d&#8217;une pomme de pin<\/span><\/li><li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">plante alpine bisannuelle. Les graines, dispers\u00e9es en automne, donnent naissance, au cours de la premi\u00e8re ann\u00e9e, \u00e0 de grandes feuilles allong\u00e9es poussant en rosette.
